TANJIDOR

Tanjidor is one of culture wealth in Indonesia that owned particular the Betawi tribe. Tanjidor is a Betawi traditional music which is now becoming rare. Complete musical instruments used in the orchestra tanjidor is clarinet, Pistone, trombone, trumpet, tenor seksofon, seksofone bass, drums, cymbals, side drum.

Tanjidor players usually consists of 10-7 the music player and 1-2 singers. Tanjidor usually only shown at a grand reception, and the bridesmaids. But in general, this art was held in a place that will be attended by a wide Betawi people like an orchestra. The art of Tanjidor also found in West Kalimantan, while in South Kalimantan is extinct.
