Peacock dance

Peacock Dance is a traditional dance of West Java. This dance tells the story of a male peacock showing the beauty of long tail feathers and colorful birds to steal the peahen.

The costumes were very colorful peacock reflect characteristics that attracted the most attention are the wings that are filled with sequins and can be stretched by the dancer. And a crown decorated with peacock head called the singer will be rocking every dance move his head.

This dance is danced by women, because women are more suited reflect the movements performed by the male peacock.
