Traditional House of Minahasa


 Traditional house minahasa a stagy or home vault. The traditional house is a house minahasa stage consisting of two stairs in front of the house. According to the belief ancestors minahasa laying ladders are intended if there is an evil spirit who seeks to rise from among the evil spirits stairs then back down the stairs to the next.

Raw materials used are usually the type of wood from trees taken from the jungle, ie, iron wood, linggua, chrysolite utan wood or tree wasian, Nantu wood, and wood maumbi. Iron wood used for poles, wood for walls and floors cempaka houses, wooden Nantu to the roof frame. For the lower economic strata using bamboo petung / feather Java for poles, roof truss and Nibong for home flooring, bamboo is used for the walls were broken.
